Do Great Work.

Crafting & Communicating A New Journey

We’ve been told this time and time again. If you Do Great Work, you’ll succeed. You’ll be satisfied. You’ll know that you are living each day to the fullest.

My in-laws, John and Marge Malloy, started a mom and pop business in the late 1970s, in a small town in Missouri. They had little experience with the product they would be manufacturing and selling, but they had passion, drive, an eagerness to learn, and a mantra to always Do Great Work. They left their careers in executive leadership and account management, and started fresh. They knew their talents, trusted their work ethic, and were determined to succeed in the American Dream. And they did.

It was John, a few years back, who encouraged my husband and I to keep looking for our true dream. To keep searching, to keep pushing ourselves, to use our talents. And to always, always, Do Great Work.

Combining our talents had been easy – I’ve worked in marketing and creative design management since 2004. Rich has built websites, alongside being a professional musician, since 2000. We often ran ideas by each other, but it wasn’t until the last few years that we realized we fit each other perfectly in the business world. He’s an innovative, out of the box thinker; his mind is always on fire. Rich pushes the envelope, finds creative solutions to problems, doesn’t ever take ‘good enough’ for the answer. And I excel at the people side – the client management, meeting deadlines, organizing a marketing plan, implementing a project. He’s great at coming up with the creative ideas, I’m great at outlining a design and putting those ideas into place.

In 2015, we began making steps to start our own business. Really, these steps began years before, but the paperwork, the plan, the name, began coming together in 2015. And in 2016, we made it happen – I left my career in senior living management, teamed up with Rich in his existing career as a full-time web developer/designer, and here we are today with Craft & Communicate, a full-service advertising, marketing, print design and web design team.

This is our version of the mom and pop business, of fulfilling our American Dream, of making sure that we always Do Great Work.

We’re excited to bring a new outlook on the typical ad agency format. We’ve worked with agencies for a decade, and to be frank, we’re rarely blown away with what we’ve been given past the initial sales meeting. So, we don’t work that way. You won’t ever work with a sales team. You’ll only work with us. We’re small, and we intend to stay this way, only accepting new clients as we are able. This way, we can focus on who you are and what your needs are, and no one’s time is wasted.

Craft & Communicate is located in Fort Worth, Texas, offering web design, web development, print design, strategic marketing and advertising. We work with a very small group of the best designers and developers to ensure we’re always staying up to date, pushing ourselves, and maximizing our skills. We’re bringing something fresh to the table: accountable customer service along with innovative thinking and impeccable design. As the Malloy’s did some 40 years ago, we follow in their footsteps and will always Do Great Work.

We are Rich and Jen Malloy, and this is Craft & Communicate.
